We have an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal with 1-4 years of experience for a small law firm located in Sandy Springs. The ideal candidate will have litigation paralegal experience and capable of wearing many different hats. The firm handles cases dealing with Employment, Insurance Coverage, Personal Injury, Products Liability, Premises Liability, Professional Liability, Commercial Property and Transportation Litigation. The paralegal will support two attorneys and report to the Office Manager. Great working environment and location. Very easy access to 400/285. Free parking.

Job Requirements

Ideal Paralegal candidates must have:

  • Preparing written discovery, form pleadings, affidavits, and legal correspondence
  • Analyzing, organizing, and maintaining documents in paper or electronic form
  • Handling document productions, including reviewing, Bates numbering, redacting, creating privilege logs and electronic discovery logs
  • Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediation, or trial by organizing and analyzing exhibits, preparing trial notebooks, and performing other related tasks
  • Performing research, including Jury Verdict Research, on Westlaw and CaseMetrix
  • Summarizing depositions and medical records
  • Managing calendars and deadlines
  • Meeting with clients, attorneys, and other professional to discuss case details
  • Filing court documents as needed in federal and state courts (PACER, Odyssey, Peach Court)
  • Investigating facts and basic legal questions and searching public records and other resources
  • Directing and coordinating service of subpoenas and other legal documents
  • Preparing and processing correspondence as needed



  • Ability to rapidly switch between tasks and matters and handle a significant case volume
  • Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program or an associate’s degree in paralegal studies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environment
